Artist Statement

I consider myself to be a contemplative sound designer with a passion for projects that reinforce and challenge my understanding of theatrical design. I hold an affinity for suggestive sounds and experimentalism rather than straightforward realism. It is my belief that this helps immerse the audience into the narrative being told on stage. Additionally, I love to allude to small story details and interpretations through abstract soundscapes and sound effects.

 

Constructive criticism is something I often seek, and thus the drawing board is a place I am unafraid to visit. I am proud to create designs that reflect my individual style, but I love to collaborate with and gather feedback from others to create the best work possible!
